Born in Elche, Alicante, Spain in 1971, he is Mechanical Engineer since 1997 and Phd since 2002.

He joined the Polytechnic University of Cartagena as an Assistant Professor in 1997 and is currently Full Professor at the Miguel Hernández University, in the field of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer Processes and Energy Efficiency.

During 26 years of university teaching, he has directed 5 Doctoral Theses and has participated in more than 50 scientific conferences.

He has published 40 articles in scientific journals and is the author or coauthor of 16 guidebooks on solar energy, instrumentation, heat pumps, energy efficiency in facilities and renewable energy in buildings.

He is currently President of the Technical Committee of ATECYR and Vice President of REHVA.
